I am not surprised by the idiosyncrasy of the first commentator because history is filled with many egocentric tractors who sold out their own people for a few pieces of silver. I do however agree that the use of the derogatory Euro-assigned title of Hinduism is also a contentious part of the entire argument.
After a lot of research into the various religious beliefs of the highly commercialized regions of the world, I have come to the rational conclusion that their Gods were Born/Created from the imagination of the rulers of that particular geographic location. Their Gods were created to be in their own image and likeness.
These rulers, through their clever advisors, created religions that targeted the fears of the people at the particular time. These advisors were similar to the marketing consultants and advertising specialists of today. The wealthy people found creative ways of keep the working-class people (slaves) obedient to their whim and fancy.
The working class people were threatened with eternal damnation for disobedience to the divine laws and instructions of an invisible authority called God. This God has created you in his image and likeness to obey and serve him with blind faith. This God choose special servants to be his messengers to his humble and obedient subjects. This God also commands that his loyal slaves must kill all those heathens and infidels who do not obey his commandments.
Most of the historic records of the world are tainted with the prejudice of the individuals compiling the data. Many people in the past have surreptitiously manipulated information to aggrandize their race, religion or organization while demonizing their opponents.
The historic facts clearly define that religion and politics were always intimately wedded. The rational and scientific minds of the world have challenged religion/politics to get in sync with increasing social realities and diversity
The overwhelming consensus in relation to international human rights is that religion has absolutely no justification for surreptitiously manipulating the state/government to support or sanction their religious prejudices.
In other words absolutely no religion should be allowed to influence political decisions with the possibility of encroaching upon the personal rights of any individual.
Religious discrimination along with all other forms of bigotry/prejudice/chauvinism is absolutely wrong because it constitutes a scornful violation of an individual’s inalienable human/civil right.

The write up is full of criticism, complaints and venom but as a reader I found it hard to clearly understand the points and counter points. Being an Indian, I can see some fundamental differences in the southern and northern cultures. The word Hindu is not truly Indian. What constituted the so-called Hindu religion is only certain beliefs, practices and rituals that are not necessarily unique to India. Similar beliefs, deities, gods and rituals have been found in other ancient civilizations such as egyptian, greco-roman and persian/zoroastrian. If the only problem is with the word Aryan, then that's alright. But it is hard to understand what exactly is the problem with the so-called 'invasion' theory. I think it is obvious that the so-called Aryans were not necessariy white Europeans, they were the people originated some where around Black Sea and migrated to different parts of Asia and Europe. So that obviously dismisses Hitler's dreamy ideas. I don't know what else the fuss is about.

Dear John, just been forwarded a copy of this alleged conversation. While there is some truth in the faith that promises paradise for those who die in holy jihad, the quotations in the article are outrageous. As a Bradfordian living amongst quite a number of Muslims and having read a great deal about the faith, much needs to be said about context. If you had had many discussions with Imans or any devout Muslim, you would be aware that you would not recieve a direct answer to a question such as the one you are supposed to have asked. The reply would have been a detour and then an accusation about some point in Christianity.
As a Christian to publish or disseminate such inflammatory information is irresponsible. Had it been true no doubt it would have been front page news and on Radio 4 at the very least. Very disappointed in this distorted report.

As anyone with one ounce of sense would have understood, there is no such person as John Harrison MBE from London and this article is a hoax.
I have no sympathy for Islam and I am no more intelligent than anyone of you but maybe less gullible, so I did some research.
Here is there real story: http://www.snopes.com/politics/religion/allah.asp , an exercise held in Fulton prison, Missouri, USA where a non-muslim inmate (prisoner) presented Islam in a contest and could non respond to any question asked by the audience.
Islam is one of the 3 religions of The Book. Of these 3, Catholicism is the least tolerant and has exterminated more infidels in the last 2000 years than Islam will ever do (see crusades, see inquisition, see conquistadores and see colonial wars). Jews, Christians and Muslims live in peace together and articles like this one are just attempts to increase the hatred instilled by nationalistic idiots and religious inept extremist groups.
